Johnny Sauter began racing in 1996, after fulfilling a promise he made to his father, short-track racer Jim Sauter, to finish high school before he started his career. The Necedah, Wisconsin native joined the American Speed Association (ASA) in 1998. In 2001, led by crew chief Joe Shear, Jr., Sauter was named ASA Champion and Rookie of the Year with a record 10 wins.

That same year he made his first start in what is now known as the NASCAR Xfinity Series. He shared the ride for the 2003 season, winning the Xfinity Owners Championship. Sauter also made his NASCAR Cup Series debut and his NASCAR Gander RV & Outdoors Truck Series debut that year.

Sauter moved to the Gander Trucks full-time in 2009 and earned his first win at Las Vegas Motor Speedway that year. In 2016, Sauter claimed his first Gander Trucks Championship following a season which included three wins, one pole, 12 top fives and a career-high 19 top-ten finishes.

Sauter continued to earn his place in the record books in 2017 and 2018, winning 10 additional races and securing championship four berths in both seasons; becoming the only driver in the series to appear in all three championship battles since the inception of the Chase format

He is a hard-working, highly motivated person that is looking forward to becoming successful in whatever he chooses to pursue. Ty catches on to new information very quickly. It’s important to always improve no matter what.” He feels it is this dedication and motivation that helped present the opportunities that have come forth. Ty takes nothing for granted and knows hard work and perseverance is the key to success.

“I have come a long way in the time that I’ve been behind the wheel. From go karts to late models to supers, and up to the top three series. Each step I’ve taken has been a learning experience for me. Never to take an opportunity lightly, I pride myself in constant improvement. I’ve had a few lows but those have taught me mental toughness as well as the importance of perseverance. I look forward to what the future holds.”

Matt Crafton – MP Racing ThorSport

NASCAR Camping World Truck Series Driver:

Matt Crafton climbed back into the championship hunt in 2019, with a bid in the NASCAR Gander RV & Outdoors Truck Series Playoffs. The two-time series champion navigated his way into the through the unique three Round Playoff format where he was claimed the Driver Championship for the third time in his career. The Tulare, California native also extended the Gander Trucks record for consecutive starts to 450, since his series debut at Auto Club Speedway in November 2000 – passing four-time Gander Trucks champion Ron Hornaday, Jr with 360 starts in the 2015 Gander Trucks race at Homestead-Miami Speedway. Additionally, the MP Racing/ThorSport driver capped off his 19th full-time season in the Gander Trucks.

Crafton began his racing career in go-karts, mini sprints and midgets before following his father, Danny Crafton, who had his own legacy on the West Coast, into late models. When Danny was injured with three races left in the 1996 season, he selected his son as his substitute. Crafton’s performance in those races led Danny to hang up his helmet and step out of his familiar No. 46 to allow his son to take over. The younger Crafton rewarded his family’s faith in 2000 by winning four races en route to the prestigious NASCAR Featherlite Southwest Series championship.

Following Crafton’s championship in the 2000 Featherlite Southwest Series, MP Racing/ThorSport named him the driver of the No. 88 truck for the 2000 season finale at Auto Club Speedway, beginning the series’ longest-running driver-team relationship. Crafton became a fixture in the Gander Trucks, finishing inside the top-10 in the standings, the last 11 seasons, and drove his way into the NASCAR history books becoming the first Gander back-to-back champion, winning titles in 2013 and 2014.

Driver of the No. 7 NXS MP Racing / JRM Brandt Chevrolet

MP Racing / JR Motorsports’ winningest Nascar Xfinity driver, Justin Allgaier, is kicking off his fifth season with the organization and his 11th year in the NASCAR Xfinity Series after a strong 2019 championship campaign. Winner of the 2019 NXS Most Popular Driver Award, Allgaier capped off last season with a win in Phoenix, 16 top fives, 24 top 10s, and earned himself a spot in the Championship 4 for the third time in four years.

The longest tenured full-time driver at JR Motorsports with MPR partnership, Allgaier now has eight wins since joining the team in 2016 and 11 career NXS victories in 306 starts (along with 85 top fives and 176 top 10s). In 2019, he surpassed 500 laps led for the second consecutive season, pacing the field for 607 circuits. While the veteran driver earned fewer victories in 2019 than he did the previous year, he proved to be the king of consistency with a career-high 16 consecutive top-10 finishes, which helped him earn an average finish of 9.0 on the season, another NXS career best.

Allgaier found a love for the sport a young age. He was born in 1986 to Mike and Dorothy Allgaier, two individuals with a passion for racing. Young Allgaier climbed behind the wheel of his first race car, a quarter-midget roadster, when he was just 5 years old. Showing instant talent, Allgaier became a five-time quarter-midget champion by the age of 12. From quarter-midgets, he advanced to midget and micro-sprint features and then began racing in the UMP Late Model Series.

Noah Gragson

Driver of the No. 9 NXS MP Racing / JRM Bass Pro Shops Chevrolet

Gragson enters his second full-time season of NASCAR Xfinity Series racing with the same championship-caliber team from the 2019 season, where he finished eighth in the overall Championship standings and third in the Rookie-of-the-Year battle under the guidance of crew chief Dave Elenz.

Gragson’s racing career began at just 13 years of age in Bandolero cars before progressing to the INEX Legends Car Racing Series where he won the 2014 Young Lion Road Course Championship. Following the 2014 campaign, Gragson competed full-time in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series West in 2015 and 2016, earning four wins and Rookie of the Year honors before moving to the NASCAR Gander RV & Outdoors Truck Series full-time in 2017. Overall, Gragson has earned nine NASCAR victories across the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East and West and the Nascar Truck Series.

In 2017, Gragson’s first full-time season as a NGROTS regular, the Las Vegas native finished 10th in the championship standings and earned an impressive victory at the famed Martinsville Speedway after outdueling the now three-time champion and fellow MP Racing driver Matt Crafton on a late-race restart. Gragson followed up his rookie campaign with a dominating victory at Kansas Speedway in May of 2018, eight top-five and 17 top-10 finishes and a berth in the 2018 NGROTS Playoffs. To cap it off, he qualified for the Championship 4 and won the 2018 NGROTS Most Popular Driver Award.
